Amazing ladies: Suzy Chaffee

photo care of Powder Mag.

In order to keep you stoked and prepared for the Northern Winter (or possibly even the next aussie winter) here are some stories of inspirational ladies who have influenced what women's skiing is today.

Suzy Chaffee, a pioneer in women's hot dog skiing and the advocate for the first division of women's freestyle competitions, began her career as a poorly funded Olympian in 1968. Following a disappointing fail due to technical problems at the Olympics, Suzy went on to change the face of skiing and become the face of Chapstick and she did it all with style.

Here is her story.
